Rebecca Gilliam, Director of Technology & Digital Services, has earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. This certification is offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is recognized throughout the world as the gold standard of project management. A PMP is an experienced project manager who is certified and trained to direct teams toward a project goal.
To obtain a PMP certification, candidates must meet the following educational and professional requirements:
- Education – Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university, and at least 35 hours of formal project management education.
- Experience – At least 4,500 hours leading and directing projects.
- Knowledge – Pass the PMP examination
