We have officially completed the purchase of former Rome Seed & Feed property at 228 N. Second Ave for construction of our new building.
“We’re thrilled with that site, and we think our customers will be thrilled with it,” says proposed president Eddie Wilson.
Plans for a temporary building to be constructed by April are already underway.  Bank operations will be based out of this temporary building for about a year while the permanent one is being constructed. The floorplan should be finalized, along with the selection of a local contractor, in the next few weeks.  We expect approval of our application for a bank charter from the state banking department and for insurance through the FDIC in March.  We anticipate opening River City Bank for business by June 1st.
