Dr. Englis began her career at Berry College in 1999 and currently serves in a leadership role as Professor and Chair of the Management and Marketing Departments of the Campbell School of Business, Berry College. Dr. Englis is also a research fellow at the Dutch Institute for Study of Knowledge Intensive Entrepreneurship (Nikos) at the University of Twente, The Netherlands. Having earned her undergraduate and M.B.A from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, she received her Ph.D. in Business Administration from The University of Memphis in 2000.
Dr. Englis leads the Entrepreneurship Program at Berry College, which has helped her students start more than 85 businesses over the past 14 years. Locally, she has unselfishly worked to help a number of non-profit organizations including; The Free Clinic of Rome, The William S. Davies Homeless Shelter, The DeSoto Theater, Mercy Senior Care, and the South Rome Redevelopment Corporation to complete business, marketing, and strategic plans.
